- Health Fund Rebates
Claiming with your private health fund.
If you are a member of an Australian Private Health Fund with optical cover you will be able to make a claim with your buycontactsonline receipt.
The receipt will include an optometrist's provider number and the appropriate contact lens item number.
If your order includes lenses for two different people, and you both need a health fund receipt, please email us at contacts@buycontactsonline.com.au when you have placed the order and we will write out the correct receipts and email them to you.

We accept Visa and MasterCard and American Express.
Payments will appear as Online Contact Lenses on your credit card statement.
- Conditions of Sale
The conditions of buying your contact lenses from buycontactsonline are as follows:
- You have checked the address and other details you have completed for your order and confirm that all information provided is correct.
- You must have a valid contact lens prescription from an optometrist or ophthalmologist, and you should have your eyes examined regularly to keep your prescription valid.
- You must have received instructions from your eye care practitioner with respect to the proper care and use of your lenses.
- You must wash your hands before inserting and removing your lenses, and if you store your lenses you must use the correct disinfecting solution and replace this solution each time you store your lenses.
- You must wear lenses for their intended number of wearing days only, or as instructed by your optometrist.
- If you ever get red, sore, blurry or uncomfortable eyes when you are wearing your lenses, you must remove them immediately and only use them again when your eyes feel good and look good. If problems persist you must see your eye care practitioner for advice.

To send you contact lenses exactly as ordered as quickly as possible.
If we make a mistake, we will resend you the correct lenses with a post bag so you can send the incorrect lenses back.
Delivery
If your parcel is lost in transit before it reaches your address; it will be replaced following confirmation by Australia Post that it has been lost.
This warranty does not cover your parcel going missing following its delivery so please choose a safe address.This warranty is also dependent on you filling in the correct address and all options on the postage page during the checkout process, so please read all these options carefully when completing your order.
Faulty Contact Lenses
Faulty lenses are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Lenses damaged by you however are not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
If you order the wrong lenses by mistake or your prescription changes
If you have ordered the wrong lenses by mistake we can give you a credit for unopened, unmarked boxes in perfect condition. The lenses must be less than 6 months after purchase and have at least one year before expiration.
We cannot guarantee you against any prescription changes made by your optometrist or ophthalmologist after your lens boxes have been opened
There is a $5 restocking charge per box to cover the manufacturer restocking fee, and postage charges to cover sending your new lenses back to you of $12 ($17 in total).
When sending the lenses back it is important to pack them carefully as we cannot give a credit on boxes which are squashed or damaged in transit.
You must contact us so we can issue you a Return Authorisation Number before sending back lenses for exchange. Lenses will not be accepted without prior authorisation.

Within Australia, a $11.95 charge covers postage and packaging for any amount of lenses.
When ordering a minimum of 4 items, postage and packaging will be free of charge in Australia.All orders are sent from Melbourne in either:
1. Australian Post EXPRESS POST satchel which is tracked by Australia Post to provide you with a quick and efficient delivery service. We will use this service for all addresses other than flats/units/apartments unless otherwise instructed by you on the comments section when completing your order.
2. Australia Post REGISTERED POST package which has to be signed for or will be available for collection at your local post office. This service will be used for all flats/units/apartments. Choose your work address if you would prefer to have your order delivered by EXPRESS POST.
Postage and packaging outside Australia
If ordering from outside Australia, please email all details for the lens you require for left and right eye along with your name, address, email address and credit card number with expiry date to contacts@buycontactsonline.com.au
Outside Australia, postage and packaging will cost $30.
All orders are sent Registered Post so we can track your delivery.
Deliveries generally take 1-2 weeks.
Parcels are wrapped well and are marked as a gift for customs purposes.
